Backpacks

The days are getting shorter, the nights cooler, the leaves on the trees are turning colors, and our little ones are heading back to school.

We believe that what differentiates us from other roofing companies is our employees—they are our most valuable asset. To show our appreciation, we bought each of their children a backpack and filled it with their school supplies.

It was quite a project. Kendall and I perused the newspapers for the sales ads, and headed to the stores. We found some great buys on backpacks at Marshalls where we purchased 62 backpacks. Then off we went to Target, Office Max, and Staples to take advantage of their great sales. Kendall spent a day loading the backpacks with all kinds of supplies.

Throughout the next few weeks we will be posting pictures of the Columbia children with their new backpacks. Columbia Roofing and Sheet Metal loves their children!
