Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal adds to growing staff, names new Controller

Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal, a leading specialty roofing contractor in the Pacific Northwest and Southern California, has hired Marisol Hernandez as its Controller.

Hernandez, with five years in the construction industry, leads the company’s daily accounting duties including budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, and other financial strategies. Most recently, she served as Senior Accountant at Willamette Egg Farms.

“We are excited to welcome this young professional to our growing company,” said Mark Carpenter, CEO of Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal.  “In addition to her duties as Controller, she has stepped up to help other team members with their needs.”

Hernandez earned a B.S. in Business from the University of Oregon. When she’s not working, she enjoys hiking and traveling; most recently visiting the Bahamas.
