| What were the issues we solved?
The office portion of the roof had numerous leaks and with the offices located upstairs, there were countless measures that had to be taken to prevent water dripping onto computers, during heavy rainstorms. |
| How did the products solve those issues?
This was solved by re-sheeting the entire roof deck and then applying 3.5” of SecureShield ISO. |
| How long will this system last?
This roofing system will last far longer than the 10-Year Material warranty and 5-Year workmanship warranty. |

There should be noticeable improvements in utility bill savings compared to the previous roofing system. |
| Anything unique about the installed products?
Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal also installed visual barriers to eliminate view of the HVAC units on the roof, which greatly improved the curb appeal of the building. Overall, this was an extremely complex project that required the coordination of multiple trades, in a sensitive area of the roof above the operations portion of the office space. We were able to perform the entire tear off of the existing roofing system and installation of the new CDX decking with minimal disruption to the business. A large majority of this work was performed after business hours, to further reduce the level of impact to ongoing workflow in the offices below. |
