The structure had experienced rooftop leaks.
How did the products solve those issues?
The Columbia crew power washed the building before adding the GE Silicone top coat. They were able to fix the problem instead of completely tearing off the whole roof structure.
How long will this system last?
It’s a 20-year system that we applied. This is a repeat customer of Columbia’s. We conducted a complete tear-off and re-roof system 15 years ago. Since then, we have offered ongoing maintenance every two years.
Will they see any savings in utility bills?
Yes, the new roof coating system should help reduce the structure’s overall heating and cooling bills due to the Title 24 system that we installed. However, because the structure is a third story building the residents on the top floor will see the most benefits.
Did this finish early?
Yes, the project was completed about two days ahead of schedule.
