Ronald McDonald House Charities
Columbia Construction Services Inc. (d.b.a. Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal), Tualatin, Ore., installed a new roof system on a local Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Oregon and Southwest Washington house in July. RMHC provides temporary housing and care for families who have a seriously ill child receiving treatment at a nearby medical facility.
The roof system installation was part of a $1.4 million remodeling project intended to benefit the children and families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Portland, Ore. Additional donor companies that participated in the project include NRCA members Allied Building Products Corp., East Rutherford, N.J., and GAF, Parisippany, N.J.
